Commercial Electric
24/7 Electrical Services and Repairs delivers dependable commercial electric service throughout McLoud, OK, powering businesses with code compliant wiring, three phase expertise, and a focus on uptime that keeps your operation running.
Professional Commercial Electric in McLoud, OK
Commercial electrical work carries higher stakes than residential, because your power keeps your business open and your revenue flowing. At 24/7 Electrical Services and Repairs, we understand that downtime costs money and plan our work to protect your operation. Commercial buildings often run on three phase power, larger services, and heavier loads that demand real expertise. Our electricians handle the wiring methods, conduit, and equipment that those higher demands require. We meet the commercial code requirements that homes never face, from emergency lighting to exit signs to fire alarm systems. We assess the specific needs of your business, since a restaurant, a retail store, and a warehouse each draw power differently. We balance three phase loads correctly so your motors and equipment run efficiently and last longer. We schedule disruptive work around your hours whenever possible to keep you running. Our around the clock emergency service means a power failure never has to wait until morning. Every job is built to be reliable and fully compliant. You get honest pricing and licensed workmanship. That is the standard McLoud businesses trust.
I had a very positive experience with 24/7 Electrical Services. Jonathan was professional, knowledgeable, and instrumental in helpings figure out the most cost effective way to get our greenhouse wired from our house. He communicated with us very well and got estimates to us quickly. He made extra efforts to find a solution for us. The electricians were polite, friendly and showed up on time. They got the job done in a timely manner. I would definitely use 24/7 again and would highly recommend them.
Very pleased with company! Brian Fritz on 2 separate visits removed old fan and installed a new living room ceiling fan and kitchen ceiling light fixture along with new switches. Punctual, pleasant and professional with over 20 years experience.
24/7 was recommended. I feel I could not have made a better choice for the repairs needed. Brian came out, was super nice, very professional, straight forward, and told me exactly what needed to be done. I accepted the quote, and within minutes, he called me back, set up an appointment. he showed up early, and finished the repairs in less time than quoted. small businesses like 24/7 deserve more from our community. if your thinking about 24/7, just do it, you won't regret it
These guys are great I highly recommend them, there a family owned business, there on time easy to get ahold of them, and they do excellent work.

A polite and friendly young man, Brian fixed my electrical problem very quickly. From now on I will use this company for all of my electrical needs
Very pleased with this company. Called and requested a quote on work. They came within a week and 3 weeks later( due to my schedule restraints) they were able to complete the work. They provided a great quote and spelled out exactly what they were going to doing and cost. They completed it in 1 1/2 hours. Very professional and courteous. Will gladly do business with this company in the future.
Thank you so much 24/7 electrical, Johnathan and his aprentice did an amazing job. We did not realize how bad we needed an upgrade. Everything has been working so much better. Very friendly, respectful and professional.
24/7 Electrical was a pleasure to work with from the initial phone call. They were pleasant, helpful, quick to respond, thorough in explanation, fair in cost, and did great work. They will certainly get my business going forward.
Had a short time window to work with and had multiple issues needing fixed from GFI replacement, dimmer switch, faulty light switches and wiring new cooktop and double oven. Showed up on time, was fast efficient and friendly. Prices were very reasonable.
I had a different electrician come replace a breaker panel for me and he was in the attic at one point. He told me there were all kinds of repairs needing done and quoted me a little over $1800 to fix it. I called 24/7 electric out for a second opinion and their guy told me nothing up there was an emergency and the minor things he noticed were easy fixes that I could do myself- like putting connectors on and a box over some spliced and capped wires. He took pictures so he could explain what he saw. I know who to call now for honesty! Thank you 24/7 for saving me a big nonessential expense!!
It was a great feeling to get a quote then have 24/7 electrical services Be able to meet our needs within three days. Thank you Brian and team for helping us get a new electoral box and service very quickly.
Jonathan and his team arrived on time, quickly was able to troubleshoot and do the repair, was professional, cleaned up after themselves and was reasonable. Highly recommend!!
I did not realize that they were based in McLoud, but they didn't bat an eye about coming to Edmond to give me a free estimate and then followed with the actual install a few days later. The electricians were well groomed and had on identifying shirts & hats. They were professional, efficient & thorough and left the area clean and orderly. I also needed a new switch which he had on the truck and so they installed that too, as well as the two expected light fixtures. I am thrilled with their service and the price was reasonable.
They showed up on time, immediately got to work, explained everything they were doing and the game plan going forward and how they were troubleshooting the issue. Found and fixed the problem within an hour. Prices are fair as well! Highly recommend them for all your electrical services.
Jonathan was able to begin and finish work quickly and professionally. We would recommend 24/7 Electrical for one’s Electrical services needs!
Johnathan & crew were there earlier than we expected. They did a great job and I have no problem recommending them. They electrified our new sunroom and installed a ceiling fan and outdoor security light. Looking forward to using them again, if needed!
Jonathan and his crew replaced the whole house fuse panel, they explained everything from start to finish. All my concerns were answered during the entire process. They all were very kind while they worked in unison, no stone left unturned. This company is a real GEM if your looking for any electric issue, from small job to big job. Extremely efficient, I searched the internet for electricians, and 24/7 came up as the best, put your worries aside, these guys know what they are doing..

We needed an electrical lamp light post installed but they first had to remove the very old non working gas light, it required digging under a concrete drive and moving river rock out of the way. They also had to change the outside lights. They did all of that in a timely manner. They were very neat putting all the grass back cleaning up the walkways. They were friendly and highly competent. I will use them again.
Jonathan and company was super nice. Showed up on time and helped us with a brand new breaker box so that we have power throughout the home. Thank you for also removing old ceiling fan and putting up new fan. Looks great. Thank you.

Jonathan and Brian were both on time for my appointments, efficient, experienced and professional. Thank you for your quick upfront quote and completing the work in a timely manner.
Called and Johnathon came out to review and quote. Never received quote and sent follow up text and no other action was taken on this companies part. Looking to remodel kitchen and trying to tackle couple issues so the house brought up to code. Disappointed. Try somewhere else.
Always there when you need them they get the job done very professional I have used them several times and wouldn’t use anyone else’s.
The 2 gentlemen showed up on time, very professional, (mother taught them great manners. Always yes ma'am or no ma'am.) Did excellent work. Everything looked great. My late husband would have been proud. As he was a master electrician 45yrs. Thank you again for your outstanding job. Michelle Inman
Jonathan and his team were quick, affordable and very friendly. I couldn’t recommend them more!
Prompt. Arrived at scheduled time. Completed the work and am very happy. Both electric should were Frei dly and answered any questions I had and explained what they doing. Very competitive pricing with other estimates I got. Would use them again.
Called to make an appointment and he had me booked in within 48 hours. Showed up right on time and got the work done quickly. Worker was very nice and polite, answered my questions. Picked up all the trash when he was done and took it out to the bin! Price was very reasonable and did a great job.
These guys do great work at a very fair price. Plus, they show up on time and get the job done. They helped my son-in-law with his EV charging system and wired me up for my mini-split project. Work was clean and orderly. Highly recommend them.
He was very polite got my kitchen vent hood put in fast it looks great an works fine
The guys did excellent work very respectable. I will definitely call them in the future.
Scheduled an estimate call to have a Transfer Box installed for a generator when my power goes out. The technician suggested a better way of doing it that would cost me less money (saving money is up my alley). The appointment was scheduled 3 days out, and when the date came, he was early. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the price was very reasonable. It's nice to know that you are not being taken advantage of to make extra money. Outstanding work, and now I'm ready for those power outages, and it didn't hurt my pocket. Thanks Guy's!!!
Prompt response - called ahead of arrival. Electrician Jonathan did a great job - very polite. He did over and beyond what was requested. Quickly replied with additional quotes I requested.
Awesome, quick service. Friendly workers, informative and did the work exactly how I wanted it, would highly recommend to anyone and will be using them again in the future.
On time. Good crew and got the job done with no problems. Above and beyond making sure everything was installed correctly. Locally owned business is a bonus 👌
They showed up right on time. Explained everything. Cleaned up after. Will definitely use again. And no charge for estimates. Thanks again.
These are a rare breed in today's day and time. I am a senior citizen age 67 on a fixed income and 100% disabled. I own my home outright and I've put a new roof on it but the storm tore my roof and my pipes completely off by my 50-year-old pecan trees. The water shot through my Hunter ceiling fans and broke them and broke several of my electrical pieces in my home the water damage was very extensive. I was very fortunate as statewide roofing helps me get my home back together again. And now 24/7 came out installed my doorbell fixed my fan to where they had to just take it down and put a new light up so that it would not be dangerous. Not only that they actually put a temporary light up until they could get me one with a cord on it and they didn't have to do that. They also replaced every bulb in my home because I am handicapped and cannot do so. He fixed everything he could possibly fix. The owner took special attention to a little old lady like me and helped me God bless these people they will help you too once a year they help us please take advantage and call them before it would be too late it's every August I believe. what is so awesome about that is they wait until the end of the season to see how much damage has been done to the seniors and they actually help us out with no charge. Gather some things they cannot fix like I need a whole new electrical box and they can't do that but they can help me keep my lights on and keep me safe. And keep me to where I can live in my home and die in it I don't have but maybe 10 years left and I thank them that I don't have to worry those last 10 years. I pray I have longer but we're realistic 67 maybe? Just trying to live in my family home that I've been in since I was a baby and 24/7 electricity has helped me and I'm sure so many other seniors there's no other company like this in Oklahoma City and a lot of people can take heed from these folks. I've asked habitat for humanity I've asked all kinds of help and statewide roofing and 24/7 electric are the only two that would help me as a senior. You guys again I cannot tell you enough how much you have made my life a better place thank you God bless.....
This is my new go-to electrical service company. My dryer wouldn't power on. The dryer repairman said it was a breaker box problem and I would need an electrician to fix it. I called 24/7, and they sent Brian out right away. He confirmed that my breaker box was fine, and even agreed to talk to the dryer repairman. My dryer is now working properly. Since he was at my house any way, I asked Brian to repair a couple of light switches and install a new outlet. He did the job well and quickly, and cleaned up after himself. I was impressed with the responsiveness of the company, and with Brian's efficiency. I'll definitely use 24/7 again.
Best prices around. Was able to get a technician out within a hour of calling. The technician was very thorough and respectful. Would recommend these guys 100%.
I am a contractor in Oklahoma city, as busy as we are I forgot I had a electric mast repair on insurance scope to be repaired. I was reviewing scope the day before and saw the repair in estimate so I called these guys and they has a guy there the following morning as we started roof. The guys took care of the repair in an hour or so and did a great job. The price was a lot less then I was expecting and I could not be happier with my experience with these guys. I will definitely use then again.. TOP NOTCH..
Came out within an hour of contacting them. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Willing to work with individual circumstances. Both of the young men that came out were very respectful and explained everything very well. Have to work with insurance to finish the job but I am certain it will be done right. I talked with these people and they agreed to go inspect a house for electrical issues after a fire and provide a bid to repair/replace. That was two weeks ago, and I'm still waiting to hear back from someone
Called on Sunday and was offered a time for same-day service or another day the upcoming week that fit our schedule. An electrician texted us an hour before he came out and was on-time to appointment. He was kind, easy to understand, and quickly finished our job in just about 30 minutes. He even was able to give us some advice about other electrical questions we had but did not need fixed during this appointment. Will use again if needed!
The serviceman was extremely pleasant, and very efficient at his job. He took the time to explain to me why my GFI outlet went bad. Then he offered to fix it... as well as put a new separate wall plug in for my refrigerator, so it wouldn't happen again! ( even though it was 8pm at night ) I was very pleased with the service, so I've put their number in my phone, for the next time I need an electrician. Margaret

Commercial Electric in McLoud, OK
Commercial electrical work operates on a different scale than residential, and that difference shapes every part of the job. A business depends on steady, reliable power to stay open, serve its customers, and protect the costly equipment that keeps it running. When the lights go out or a critical circuit fails, the cost is not just inconvenience; it is lost revenue, idle staff, and lost productivity. That is why commercial electrical work demands careful planning, real capacity, and a focus on uptime that residential projects rarely require. Commercial buildings often run on three phase power, much larger services, and far heavier continuous loads than any house ever sees. The wiring methods, the conduit sizing, and the equipment ratings all reflect those higher demands and the need for long term reliability. Code requirements for commercial spaces are far more extensive, covering everything from emergency lighting to illuminated exit signs to occupancy limits. At 24/7 Electrical Services and Repairs, we understand the stakes a business faces with its electrical system. We build and maintain commercial systems with reliability as the goal. Your business simply cannot afford guesswork, and we do not offer any of it.
The electrical needs of a commercial building vary widely depending on the type of business inside it. A restaurant has heavy kitchen equipment, walk in refrigeration, and exhaust ventilation that all draw significant and continuous power. A retail store needs reliable display lighting, dedicated point of sale circuits, and exterior signage that draws customers in from the street. An office relies on dense receptacle circuits, structured data infrastructure, and reliable climate control for the comfort of staff and clients. A warehouse demands high bay lighting, dock equipment power, charging stations, and often three phase machinery running for long shifts. Each of these spaces presents its own load profile and its own code considerations. We assess the specific power demands of your business before designing, upgrading, or servicing the electrical system. That tailored approach prevents the overloaded circuits and underpowered equipment that plague generic installations. A system sized for the actual use serves the business far better than a one size fits all approach. We match the electrical work directly to how your business actually operates day to day.
Three phase power is a defining feature of many commercial buildings, and it requires real expertise to handle. Where homes use single phase power, larger commercial loads often run on three phase service for efficiency. Three phase power delivers more capacity through smaller conductors and runs heavy motors far more smoothly than single phase ever could. Heavy rooftop HVAC units, large air compressors, and industrial machinery frequently depend on three phase power to operate correctly and efficiently. Wiring, balancing, and protecting a three phase system takes knowledge that residential work does not require. We design, install, and service three phase systems so the loads stay properly balanced and the connected equipment runs as the manufacturer intended. An unbalanced three phase system wastes energy, trips protective devices, and quietly shortens the life of expensive motors and equipment. We calculate and distribute the loads across all three phases to keep the system efficient, balanced, and stable under demand. This is specialized work, and it is part of what we bring to commercial clients. Three phase power done right keeps your whole operation humming along.
Code compliance carries even higher stakes in a commercial setting than in a home. Commercial buildings must meet requirements for emergency lighting, illuminated exit signs, and clearly marked egress paths. Fire alarm systems, in many commercial cases, must be interconnected, monitored, and tied to a central station to protect occupants. Occupancy load and the specific use of a space determine a long list of additional electrical requirements under the commercial code. Inspections are routine in commercial work, and a single failed inspection can delay an opening or hold up a certificate of occupancy. We know the commercial code requirements that apply to different business types and building uses. Meeting those requirements protects your occupants, your customers, your insurance standing, and your liability exposure. We build code compliance into the work from the very start rather than scrambling to correct violations at inspection time. A code compliant commercial system is not optional; it is a legal and moral obligation. We treat it that way on every single commercial job.
Minimizing downtime is one of the most important things we do for commercial clients. Every hour a business sits without power is an hour of lost income and frustrated customers. We plan our work to keep your operation running wherever possible, scheduling after hours or around your slow periods when we can. For repairs, we diagnose the problem quickly and carry the common parts needed to resolve most issues on the very first visit. For installations and upgrades, we coordinate the work to limit the disruption to your business. Our around the clock emergency service means a power failure at your business does not have to wait until the next morning. We understand that a dark restaurant, a warm walk in cooler, or a stalled production line is a genuine emergency. Speed matters, but so does doing the work right the first time. We balance both so your business stays open and stays safe. Downtime is the real enemy here, and we fight it on every commercial call we run.
Maintenance and inspection keep a commercial electrical system reliable and prevent the failures that cost money. Commercial systems work hard for long hours, and the connections, panels, breakers, and equipment all wear under that constant heavy load. A scheduled inspection catches loose connections, overheating, corrosion, and failing components long before they cause an unexpected outage. We check panels, breakers, terminations, and connections for the heat, corrosion, and wear that signal trouble ahead. Regular maintenance extends the working life of your equipment and protects the substantial investment you have made in it. It also keeps your system compliant with code as requirements evolve over time. A proactive approach costs far less than an emergency repair during business hours. We help commercial clients set up a maintenance schedule that fits their operation, their hours, and their budget. Preventing a failure is always cheaper than recovering from one. We keep your system healthy so your business stays running.

Why Electrical Code Matters for Commercial Electric
Electrical code matters even more in commercial settings, because more people and higher stakes ride on every circuit. The National Electrical Code and local codes set strict requirements for commercial buildings that go well beyond residential rules. Emergency lighting and illuminated exit signs are required so occupants can leave safely during a power failure. Fire alarm systems must often be interconnected and monitored to warn everyone in the building at once. Egress paths must stay lit and clearly marked under code to prevent panic and injury during an emergency. Occupancy classifications drive a wide range of additional electrical requirements based on how a space is used. Working clearances, equipment ratings, and grounding rules all carry specific commercial standards. When a commercial system ignores these rules, the danger multiplies across everyone who enters the building. Failed inspections can delay an opening, void a certificate of occupancy, and cost a business dearly. Insurance coverage and liability protection both depend on a building meeting code. Inspectors scrutinize commercial work closely because the consequences of failure affect the public. Building to code is how we keep your business, your occupants, and your customers safe.
Most Common Commercial Electric Questions
Commercial electrical work raises plenty of practical questions, from three phase power to downtime to code requirements. We have answered the ones our McLoud business owners ask most so you know what to expect before we arrive.
Commercial electrical work calls for an electrician with specific experience, and the difference goes well beyond the size of the job. A commercial system involves three phase power, larger services, and code requirements that a residential electrician may rarely encounter. The equipment, the load calculations, and the wiring methods all differ from what a typical home requires. A commercial building also carries requirements for emergency lighting, exit signs, and fire alarm systems that homes do not. An electrician working on a business needs to understand occupancy codes and the rules tied to how a space is used. Choosing someone without commercial experience risks failed inspections, costly rework, and dangerous mistakes. We bring the commercial knowledge that keeps your project on schedule and up to code. That experience is exactly what protects your business.
Beyond technical knowledge, commercial work demands an understanding of how a business actually operates. A good commercial electrician plans around your hours to minimize disruption to your operation. They understand that downtime costs money and treat your uptime as a priority. They coordinate with other trades, building managers, and inspectors to keep a project moving. They also grasp the liability a business faces and build compliance into every step. These are skills that come from working in commercial environments, not just residential ones. We have spent years serving businesses across our area and understand those demands. That perspective makes the work smoother for you.
The licensing and insurance side of commercial work matters just as much. Commercial projects often require specific permits, and the contractor must be properly licensed to pull them. As a licensed Oklahoma contractor, we handle the permitting and inspection process for your project. We carry the proper credentials to work legally and safely on commercial buildings. This protects you from the liability that comes with unlicensed or improper work. It also ensures your project meets the standards your insurance and your lease may require. When you hire us, you get a contractor equipped for the realities of commercial work. For a business, that assurance is well worth it.
Three phase power is a type of electrical service that delivers power more efficiently for larger loads. Where homes use single phase power with two hot legs, three phase power uses three hot legs offset in timing. This arrangement provides a steadier, more continuous flow of power than single phase can. It runs large motors more smoothly and efficiently, which is why industrial and commercial equipment relies on it. Three phase power also carries more capacity through smaller conductors, saving on wiring costs for heavy loads. Many commercial buildings come with three phase service already because of the equipment they support. Knowing what you have and what you need is the first step in any commercial electrical project. We evaluate your service and your loads to determine the right setup.
Not every business needs three phase power, and the decision depends on the equipment you run. A small office or retail shop with standard lighting and receptacles often runs fine on single phase service. A business with large motors, heavy HVAC, or industrial machinery usually benefits from or requires three phase. Restaurants with substantial kitchen equipment, manufacturers, and warehouses frequently fall into the three phase category. The nameplate on your major equipment tells us what kind of power it needs to operate. We read those requirements and compare them to your existing service. If your equipment needs three phase and your building only has single phase, we discuss the options. Matching the power to the equipment is the heart of the decision.
If your business does need three phase power, we handle the design and installation correctly. We coordinate with the utility when three phase service must be brought to the building. We balance the loads across all three phases so the system runs efficiently and the equipment lasts. We size the conductors, the service, and the protection to match your demands. An improperly balanced three phase system wastes energy and damages equipment over time, so we get it right. We also service and troubleshoot existing three phase systems that develop problems. This specialized work is part of what we offer commercial clients. When your business depends on three phase power, we make sure it is done properly.
Reducing downtime during electrical work starts with good planning, and that is where we focus first. Before any work begins, we assess the scope and identify which parts of your operation will be affected. We then build a plan that keeps as much of your business running as possible during the work. Scheduling matters, so we often perform disruptive work after hours, overnight, or during your slow periods. For larger projects, we phase the work so sections of your operation stay powered while others are serviced. Clear communication about timing lets you prepare your staff and customers in advance. This kind of planning is the single biggest factor in limiting disruption. We treat your uptime as part of the job, not an afterthought.
Having the right parts and people on hand also keeps downtime short. We come prepared with the materials and equipment needed to complete the work efficiently. For repairs, we stock the common parts so a single visit often resolves the problem. We bring enough manpower to finish the work in the window we have agreed on. Delays usually come from poor preparation, and we plan ahead to avoid them. Coordinating with other trades and your building management keeps the project moving smoothly. When everyone knows the plan, the work goes faster and cleaner. Preparation is what turns a long outage into a brief one.
For unexpected failures, our emergency service is built to get you back online fast. A sudden power loss at a business is an emergency, and we respond around the clock. We diagnose quickly, because finding the cause fast is the key to a fast repair. We carry the parts and tools to fix common commercial failures on the spot. Getting your power restored is the priority, and we work efficiently to make that happen. We also look for the root cause so the same failure does not recur. A repair that lasts prevents the next round of downtime. When your business loses power, we move fast to bring it back.
Commercial buildings are generally required to have emergency lighting, and the rules exist to protect people during a power failure. When the power goes out, emergency lighting illuminates the paths people need to exit the building safely. Codes require that exit routes, stairwells, and egress paths stay lit even when normal power fails. Illuminated exit signs must mark the way out and remain visible during an outage. These systems typically run on battery backup or a generator so they work when the main power does not. The specific requirements depend on the building type, the occupancy, and local code. A business that lacks proper emergency lighting risks failing inspection and endangering its occupants. Meeting these requirements is both a legal obligation and a basic safety measure.
Emergency lighting systems need regular testing and maintenance to function when they are needed. A battery backup that has degraded will not provide light during an actual emergency. Codes require periodic testing to confirm the lights and signs operate correctly. We install, test, and maintain emergency lighting and exit signs to keep them compliant and reliable. A monthly function test and an annual full duration test are common requirements. We help businesses set up the testing schedule their code requires. Documentation of that testing is often needed for inspections and insurance. Keeping these systems in working order is not optional for a commercial building.
If your building needs emergency lighting installed or updated, we handle the full job. We assess your egress paths and determine where lighting and signs are required. We install code compliant emergency fixtures and illuminated exit signs in the right locations. We tie them into the proper power source with reliable battery backup or generator support. We test the completed system to confirm it performs during an outage. We also bring existing systems up to current code when they have fallen behind. This work protects the people in your building and keeps you compliant. When emergency lighting is on the line, we make sure it works when it matters.
Recurring electrical problems in a commercial building usually point to an underlying issue rather than bad luck. The most common root cause is an overloaded system that was never sized for the building’s current demands. As a business grows and adds equipment, the original electrical system can fall behind the load. Aging panels, worn breakers, and tired wiring all become more likely to fail under that strain. Loose connections that develop over time create heat, intermittent faults, and nuisance tripping. Poor past workmanship, including improper splices and undersized circuits, often surfaces as repeated trouble. Identifying the real pattern behind the problems is the first step toward solving them. We investigate the cause rather than just patching each symptom.
Different recurring problems point to different sources, and we read those signals carefully. Breakers that trip repeatedly often mean overloaded circuits or a developing fault. Flickering lights can indicate loose connections, an overloaded service, or a utility issue. Equipment that fails prematurely may be suffering from voltage problems or an unbalanced three phase load. Warm panels and burning smells signal connections that are overheating and need immediate attention. Each of these symptoms tells us where to look for the underlying cause. We perform a thorough inspection to find the source rather than guess. That diagnostic approach is what finally breaks the cycle of repeat failures.
Solving recurring problems often means addressing the system rather than the symptom. If the service is undersized, an upgrade gives the building the capacity it actually needs. If the panel is aging or overloaded, replacing it eliminates a major source of failures. If connections are loose throughout the building, a maintenance program tightens and protects them. We recommend the fix that addresses the root cause rather than just the latest breakdown, and sometimes that means a targeted repair while other times it means a larger upgrade. We give you an honest assessment of what is driving the problems. A system brought up to the building’s real demands stops the recurring failures. When your building keeps having trouble, we find out why and fix it for good.
Commercial electrical systems should be inspected regularly, and the right frequency depends on the building and its use. As a general guideline, a thorough inspection every one to three years suits most commercial properties. Buildings with heavy equipment, harsh environments, or high demand benefit from more frequent checks. Older buildings and those with a history of electrical problems also warrant closer attention. Some industries and insurance policies require inspections on a set schedule. The goal is to catch problems before they cause an outage or a hazard. Regular inspection is far cheaper than the emergency repairs it prevents. We help businesses set a schedule that fits their specific situation.
An inspection examines the parts of your system that wear and fail over time. We check the panels, breakers, and connections for the heat and corrosion that signal trouble. We look for loose terminations, overloaded circuits, and signs of past overheating. We evaluate the condition and capacity of the service against the building’s current demands. We test safety systems like emergency lighting and GFCI protection where they apply. The inspection produces a clear picture of the system’s health and any concerns. We document what we find and prioritize the issues that need attention. That report lets you plan and budget for any needed work.
Regular inspection delivers real value beyond avoiding breakdowns. It extends the life of your equipment by catching small problems early. It keeps your system compliant as codes and demands change over time. It protects your occupants and your liability by finding hazards before they cause harm. It also gives you documentation that insurance and inspectors may require. Knowing the condition of your system lets you plan upgrades on your terms rather than during a crisis. The cost of inspection is minor next to the cost of an unexpected failure. We make commercial inspection straightforward and worthwhile for your business.
We upgrade commercial electrical services, and that work is often the answer when a building has outgrown its power. A service upgrade increases the capacity available to your building, letting it support more equipment and demand. Businesses that have added machinery, expanded operations, or struggled with frequent tripping often need more service. The first step is a load calculation that compares your current and future demands to your existing service. That calculation tells us how much capacity you actually need going forward. We then design an upgrade that provides headroom for your operation rather than just meeting today’s load. Sizing the upgrade correctly prevents the same problem from returning in a few years. We plan for where your business is headed, not just where it is now.
A commercial service upgrade involves more coordination than a residential one. We work with the utility to bring the larger service to the building. We size the service equipment, the panels, and the distribution to handle the new capacity. We may add or replace panels, feeders, and protective devices as part of the upgrade. Three phase service is often involved, and we balance and configure it correctly. We schedule the work to limit disruption to your business during the upgrade. Permits and inspections are part of the process, and we handle them from start to finish. The result is a service built to support your operation reliably.
The benefits of a properly upgraded service show up immediately and over the long term. Your equipment runs without the nuisance tripping and voltage problems of an overloaded system. You gain the capacity to add the equipment your growing business needs. The risk of overheating, failures, and fire from an overtaxed system drops sharply. A modern service also brings your building up to current code. We provide upfront pricing and a clear scope so you know exactly what the upgrade includes. As panel and service specialists, this is work we handle regularly for commercial clients. When your business needs more power, we deliver an upgrade that lasts.
If your business loses power, the first step is to determine the scope of the outage calmly. Check around to see if the outage affects your building only or the whole area. A neighborhood wide outage points to a utility problem rather than something in your building. If your neighbors have power and you do not, the issue is likely on your side of the meter. Check your main breaker and panel to see if a breaker has tripped. A single tripped breaker affecting one area is different from a complete loss of power. Knowing the scope helps you and us understand what kind of problem you are facing. That quick assessment guides the next step.
For safety, there are a few things to keep in mind during an outage. Avoid touching the panel if you see, smell, or hear signs of trouble like smoke, burning odors, or buzzing. Those signs point to a hazard that needs a professional, not a reset. Turn off and unplug sensitive equipment to protect it from damage when power returns. Do not attempt to force a breaker that will not reset, since that usually means a live fault remains. If the cause is not obvious and simple, calling a professional is the safe choice. Your safety and your equipment matter more than a quick fix. When in doubt, leave the panel alone and call for help.
This is exactly the kind of situation our emergency service is built for. We respond around the clock, because a business without power cannot wait until morning. We diagnose the cause quickly, from a tripped main to a service fault to a failed component. We carry the parts and tools to resolve common commercial failures on the spot. Getting your power restored safely is our priority on every emergency call. We also identify the root cause so the outage does not simply happen again.
